Spring has finally bloomed in East Tennessee and there's nothing that my girl loves more than being outside in the fresh air when it's a beautiful day. It gives her life, lifts her heart and puts a smile on her face. I wrote this song for her on the first warm day we had after winter broke.
lyrics
OUT OF DOORS
The winter’s melting girl
Sunlight pokes holes through cloud
It’s a bluer, greener world
And I know you want to be out,
Out of freezing, out of doors,
You want heat and breeze, oh you want more
Of this world He made for you and me
On your lovely face, babe I want to see you
Out of doors
The kids are runnin’ round
And the wind is in your hair
There’s a blanket on the ground
And I can’t wait to be there
(CHORUS)
And I can see the look that’s in your eyes
The sun and the trees, they make you feel alive
(CHORUS)
