1.
You Took My Place You took my chains and set me free You took my sin and gave me grace You took my shame and honored me You took my part, You took my place You’re bringing joy to my despair You shatter dark with the light of Your face You’re speaking peace into my fears You took my part, You took my place The perfect Son of God has paid for my Selfish, broken, sinful heart Perfect, spotless blood was spilled because You took my place, You took my part You have loved me unto death I want to love You with every breath
2.
As I Am 03:42
AS I AM When I run (girls echo) from You so fast (echo) When I’m ashamed of all my past You’re seeking me with love that lasts You love me as I am When all I feel is loss and pain And I don’t know what I should pray You tell me do not be afraid You love me as I am There’s no one like You (echo) There’s no one who can Love like You do You love me as I am When loneliness is all I’ve found And everyone has let me down You say You’ll always be around And You love me as I am When tears and hurt are all I’ve known And when my heart can’t find a home You say You want me for Your own You love me as I am (CHORUS) You gave Your life, You made a way You stirred my heart, You called my name And when I got tired of my own way You loved me where I was And You love me as I am
3.
Lamb Of God 02:40
LAMB OF GOD Lamb of God who takes away (Lamb of God) Take away our sins Lamb of God who takes away (Lamb of God) Take away our sins Have mercy on us, have mercy on us (Have mercy) (Have mercy) Lamb of God who takes away (Lamb of God) Take away our sins
4.
I NEED YOU NOW When I couldn’t save myself When I wanted something else When I needed to be found, That’s when You came down When I couldn’t save myself When I couldn’t fix myself When my problems overwhelmed That’s when You showed up To fill my empty cup When I couldn’t fix myself I need You, Lord I need You Just like I did then, I need You now When I cannot feel Your hand And I do not understand You say I’m not alone And that You won’t let me go When I cannot feel Your hand When I’m feeling so ashamed When I know i am to blame You tell me that i’m clean And that you still love me When I’m feeling so ashamed (CHORUS)
5.
Come You Who are Thirsty Isaiah 55:1-2 Come, you who are thirsty Come to the waters And you, who have no money Come, and buy and eat (REPEAT) Why Spend your money On what is not bread, And labor for what won’t satisfy? When without cost And Without money All that you need you can buy… Come, you who are thirsty Come to the waters Come, delight your soul In the richest of fare

about

This record is a collection of worship songs written for prisoners and addicts, searching teenagers and normal folks in a small-town church who are all desperately seeking God and learning what it means to walk with Him. The tunes are simple and easy to learn. The lyrics are straightforward and direct by design so that ordinary folks can identify with them. The aim was to communicate basic truths about our faith in Christ in a way that offers any longing heart the opportunity to call out to Him for help, and find the love and grace of the God who gave and still gives. It's my hope that in listening, you find yourself singing along, but not because the song is catchy; but because you too are loved by Jesus and you also need His grace and help to make it through this day. Come, you who are thirsty, come to the waters.
